The main objective of Aircraft Engineering study programme is education of applied engineers who will have necessary knowledge, capabilities and skills for successful performance of engineering tasks in the field of Aircraft Engineering and necessary knowledge, capabilities and skills for obtaining license B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, B1.4 и B2 in compliance EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) Part 66 Certifying Staff и Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation Approval. Different features in content of open elective subjects are enabling students to train for one of these five specialities: B1.1 Aeroplanes With Turbine Engines, B1.2 Aeroplanes With Piston Engines, B1.3 Helicopters With Turbine Engines, B1.4 Helicopters With Piston Engines, and B2 Avionics. Compulsory subjects, as well as open elective subjects, are defined based on the EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) regulations Part 66 Certifying Staff and Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation Approval.
Purpose of the Bachelor of Applied Studies in Aircraft Engineering study programme is the education of applied aircraft engineers in accordance with recognized demand of the labour market.
