Option 1
Aviation Academy program designed exclusively for taking the exam, with or without preparation.

If the candidate has passed the relevant category examinations without completing basic training in accordance with the EASA Part 147 standard, the experience requirements are as follows:
As an example, for category B1.1 it is necessary to pass thirteen modules over sixteen exams, and for category B2 it is necessary to pass twelve modules over fifteen exams. A certificate of passed module/exam is issued for each successfully passed module/exam.
For categories B1.1 and B2, the necessary work experience is five years of work in an approved aircraft maintenance organization (Part 145).
For categories A1 and B1.2, the necessary work experience is three years of work in an approved aircraft maintenance organization (Part 145).
Option 2
Basic training program at the special request of the candidate, including taking the exam at Aviation Academy. Basic training for EASA Part 66 modules of the relevant category including taking the exam. Basic training consists of theoretical and practical part, and lasts a total of 2400 hours spread over a period of 24 months.
For categories B1.1 and B2, the necessary work experience is two years of work in an approved aircraft maintenance organization (Part 145).
For categories A1 and B1.2, the necessary work experience is one year of work in an approved aircraft maintenance organization (Part 145).
The full qualification process to apply for an EASA Part 66 license takes three or four years depending on the category.
Note:
Basic training program, including the exam, is integrated into the education program of Aviation Academy in accordance with the national education program, so the duration of basic training for the A1 category is integrated into four years of high school education, and for B1.1, B1.2 and B2 categories integrated into three years of higher education. The complete process of obtaining the conditions for application, in these cases, lasts five years for categories A1, and six years for categories B1.1, B1.2 and B2.
The above conditions also apply to the issuance of the National Aircraft Maintenance License issued by the Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Serbia (DCV), which also include additional subcategories B1.3 (see conditions for B1.1 and B2) and A2, A3, A4 and B1 .4 (see conditions for A1 and B1.2).
Option 3 (applicable only to licences issued by DCV)
Program with completed technical school approved by the Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Serbia (DCV):
For the above, it is necessary that you have completed a technical school that is not approved in accordance with the Part 147 standard and whose program DCV considers relevant in terms of technical requirements and acquired skills. In this case, it is necessary for the candidate to pass the relevant exams for the category and acquire the following experience requirements:
For categories B1.1, B1.3 and B2, it is necessary to have three years of work experience in an approved aircraft maintenance organization (Part 145).
For categories A and B1.2, B1.4, is necessary to have two years of work experience in an approved aircraft maintenance organization (Part 145).
The eligibility process to apply for a DCV Part 66 license takes a little over two or three years depending on the category. This period does not include time spent at the relevant technical school.
Note:
For the EASA and DCV program, requirements concerning work experience can be obtained before or after passing the examination for the relevant module or group of modules and issuing the certificate.
For the EASA and DCV program, the necessary experience must be documented with a logbook, where completed tasks are signed by authorized personnel of an approved aircraft maintenance organization (Part 145).

There are two steps to obtain a basic EASA PART 66 license with an approved aircraft type:
STEP 1:
Do the theory training (exams) for the license category:
Apply to an approved EASA PART 147 training organization. There are three options for this:

STEP 2:
Entry of the first aircraft type in your aircraft maintenance licence
NOTE: OJT is required only for entering the first type of aircraft in the licence. For all further approvals, only theoretical and practical training in the Part 147 organization is needed. Up to 50% of the OJT training can be completed prior to the commencement of theory training for the aircraft type.
An aircraft maintenance license with a registered aircraft type allows you to work as authorized personnel, and certify the performed work in any Part 145 organization, i.e. to work as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – LAME.
