AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH JETWINGS AIRLINE FROM INDIA

JettWings Airways, the newest airline from the northeastern region of India signed an exclusive agreement with the Aviation Academy in Belgrade, Serbia for its Cadet Pilot Program “JettWings Serbia”. The agreement that was signed at the Serbian High Commission in New Delhi is a ground breaking initiative as it marks a significant milestone in the airline company’s commitment to cultivate the next generation of highly skilled aviators. In a groundbreaking new initiative, JettWings Airways has launched a brilliant new training programme which will aid in training skilled pilots. Ultimately, it will aid in filling the shortage of pilots that the Indian aviation industry is currently facing.

The Agreement was signed by and between Sanjay Aditya Singh, CEO & MD of JettWings Airways, Dr. Goran Cvijović, CEO, Aviation Academy of Serbia and Rajat Ahuja, Director, VR Global  Ltd., in the presence of His Excellency, Siniša Pavić, Ambassador of The Republic of Serbia in  India.

Training program meant to churn out highly skilled pilots and aviation personnel so that the future of Indian aviation can continue to soar. The flight training program is designed so that pilots trained here will satisfy the criteria for a European license as well as the requirements for the DGCA. DGCA is the Directorate General for Civil Aviation and it is the watchdog for Civil Aviation in India. Since India is one of the fastest-growing aviation industries in the world, it is currently facing a shortage of skilled pilots. The pilot training program will train as many as 800 pilots over the next five years!

The first program will commence from November 15, 2023. The training programme will include equipment which is state of the art. It will consist of holistic theoretical knowledge as well as hands-on practical training. It will also incorporate advanced UPRT or Upset Prevention and Recovery Training and MCC or Multi-Crew Cooperation. Complete with flight simulators which will help in training the pilots, the training programme aims to create aviation personnel who are capable of carrying the future of Indian aviation. It is one of the most groundbreaking initiatives and will ensure that pilots are trained to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
