Aviation Academy teachers, Mladen Milanovic and Ana Novakovic, participated in Mobility project within ERASMUS + and therefore paid a visit to high school ”AKSU UCAK BAKIM TEKNOLOJISI MESLEK VE TEKNIK ANADOLU LISESI” in Antalia, Turkey from 21st to 27th of November.

Upon meeting attended by the school principal, English and content teachers, a so called “orientation” was organized for the guests to see all the school premises. The school is distinguished for its equipment and lessons are organized in two buildings: there are classrooms for theory subjects in one building and specialized workshops for avionics, aircraft systems, dragon planes, drone assembling and testing, etc. Besides that, there are Boing and Phantom planes at schoolyard where students are trained for check-ups and repairs.
Teachers Mladen Milanovic and Ana Novakovic presented specific work of Aviation Academy, and then they gave lectures that made Antalian students delighted. Aviation English lectures (teacher Ana Novakovic) engaged students to use learnt terminology in communication, and Aviation history lectures (teacher Mladen Milanovic) raised so much interest amongst them that they asked for an additional and quite unplanned lecture which was given by Milanovic with great pleasure. The Antalian teachers also gave very interesting and dynamic lectures based on CLIL methodology. This visit was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and exprience that is to learn more about best practices of these two schools.
